Militarie Gun Release Deluxe Edition Of All Roads Lead To The Gun Via Loma Vista Recordings: Watch Lyric Video For I Can’t Stand Busy People

Today, LA-based Militarie Gun have released “All Roads Lead To The Gun” (Deluxe) via Loma Vista Recordings. The 12-track project provides the perfect jumping-on point for those not yet initiated into the band’s world and expands Militarie Gun’s existing sonic toolbox. “All Roads Lead To The Gun (Deluxe) includes four brand new tracks, including the recently shared single “Let Me Be Normal,” which arrived with a video directed by frontman Ian Shelton and animated by guitarist William Acuña, along with the tracks from the first two All Roads Lead To The Gun EPs, including the standouts “Ain’t No Flowers,” “Don’t Pick Up The Phone,” and “Big Disappointment.” All Roads Lead To The Gun (Deluxe) features assistance from Woolworm vocalists Giles Roy and Heather Black on “I Can’t Stand Busy People” and “Pull It Out” and MSPAINT vocalist DeeDee on “Can’t Get None.”

Formed in 2020, Militarie Gun is defined by the musical restlessness of vocalist Shelton. The band–whose lineup has expanded to include guitarists Nick Cogan and Acuña, drummer Vince Nguyen, and bassist Max Epstein–draw on a wide range of influences to make something that sounds combative yet accessible, and undeniably their own. Co-produced, engineered and mixed by Taylor Young, there are echoes of the unhinged guitarwork of Born Against, the propulsive cadences of hip hop, the up-front bass of Fugazi–and most importantly, the hooks. Militarie Gun’s songs are instantly memorable, employing a melodic sensibility that’s just as informed by the work of Robert Pollard and Paul McCartney as it is by Black Flag.

For the month of October, Militarie Gun has been on tour with Citizen and Prince Daddy & The Hyena for 11 dates across the west coast and Canada interwoven with headline shows in Kelowna and Minneapolis. This weekend, Militarie Gun will embark on a 19-date run headline tour with support from MSPAINT, Pony, Dazy, Public Opinion and Entry on respective dates. Tickets available HERE
