The Portland-based husband and wife duo Nicamus has unveiled “On And On,” the first single from their forthcoming album Trust Fall, due later this summer. Known for blending indie rock, garage textures, and lo-fi pop with touches of folk, the band delivers a contemplative new track that explores the passage of time and the quiet inevitability of life’s forward motion.
“On And On” finds Nicamus at their most introspective. With warm guitar tones and understated harmonies, the song reflects on how time seems to accelerate as we grow older, how days slip into years, and how the cycle of life carries on with or without us. It’s a meditation steeped in nostalgia, yet edged with acceptance.
Rooted in the DIY ethos of Portland’s indie scene, Nicamus crafts their music with intimacy and grit. The new single is a sonic continuation of their quietly powerful aesthetic, understated, poetic, and emotionally resonant.
“On And On” is available now on all major streaming platforms, offering a first glimpse into the thoughtful and emotionally rich landscape of Trust Fall.
