Objct Released Debut Album “The Summer Disease”

Objct, a five-piece independent band hailing from Tuscany, Italy, has carved out a unique space in the music scene with their introspective and eclectic sound. Following the release of two early EPs, The Unknown/Liza and Feed the Fire, the band has now unveiled their latest work, The Summer Disease. This album marks a significant step in their artistic journey, capturing a transformative period in their lives.

The Summer Disease was recorded in an intense, immersive session during an August week at the suggestive La Fabbrica Studio in Montalto, Arezzo. Chosen for its mystical and inspiring atmosphere, the studio provided the perfect backdrop for the band’s creative process. The album was recorded in an old-fashioned live multitrack session, emphasizing the raw, organic energy of their performance. The mixing and mastering were handled at the band’s own facility, AttilaSound, in Arezzo, ensuring a deeply personal touch throughout the production.

The album consists of ten tracks, each born from fragmented moments of creativity during a pivotal and evolving chapter in the band’s life. The songs are a blend of rants, reflections, and unfiltered expressions of conscience, serving as both a ritual and a catharsis. The music is cerebral yet spontaneous, weaving intricate guitar counterpoints with infectious melodies and groovy rhythms. This duality creates a sound that is both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant.

Objct’s influences are as diverse as their sound, spanning genres from Post-Punk and Alternative to Indie Songwriting, Progressive, and Atmospheric instrumentals. This wide-ranging palette allows them to craft a dynamic and immersive listening experience.

The Summer Disease is not just an album: it’s a journey through the band’s collective psyche, inviting listeners to explore the depths of their conscience and the transformative power of music.
