“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished,” states Jourgensen. “I’m amazed at the path we’ve taken, from ‘With Sympathy’ to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done.”
Ever since 1981, Ministry and band leader Jourgensen have been recognised as pioneers of industrial music across 17 studio albums, 8 live releases, 8 side projects, multiple touring campaigns across 5 continents, an autobiography, 2 documentaries, the administration of last rites no less than 3 times, and, of course, by the group’s countless devoted acolytes and fans.
Alongside today’s album release, Ministry shares the album’s opening song, ‘Crickets’, as a new single. It warns of fascism repeating itself in 2026 and implores people to start speaking up before it’s too late. It is accompanied by a music video directed by Dean Karr (Korn, Queens of the Stone Age, Ozzy Osbourne) that can be seen HERE.
The album contains ten songs in all that include the already available singles ‘Burned Out’ VIDEO, ‘We Hate’ VIDEO and ’Singularity’ VIDEO. It also features a notable final collaboration with legacy member Paul Barker on its very last track, ‘We’re Still Here’, alongside the handiwork of Jourgensen’s current bandmates: guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, synth player John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.
Ministry will perform songs from the album as well as selected classic hits with an international farewell tour, including 21 ‘Goodbye Europe 2027’ shows with special guests Die Krupps commencing in early April. These will feature exclusive meet and greet opportunities with Jourgensen that include a photo op, souvenir laminate pass, silk screen poster and a final European tour coin. Fans can purchase these HERE.
