Air Drawn Dagger Drop Video For New Single “Sanctifound”

Electro-emo angst-pop trio AIR DRAWN DAGGER have released the new track “Sanctifound.” It’s the third track from their upcoming debut album A Guide For Apparitions, set for release on April 4 via Long Branch Records. The accompanying music video was directed by Aaran McKenzie (While She Sleeps).

“Keeping the acoustic guitar for the intro riff (inspired by Lamb of God) catapults us into a realm which is intense, rainy, and unsettling. We are introduced to the album’s protagonists ‘The Martyrs’ and welcomed with open arms, we are indoctrinated into the fold, warned against evil in the lake and thrust into the mosh pits as the synths and riffs hit hard,” says the band on the new track.

Air Drawn Dagger invite you on a spellbinding journey with A Guide For Apparitions, their debut album, out April 4 via Long Branch Records, which fuses macabre mysticism with multi-genre-infused rock. Produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor), each track pulls listeners through haunted tales and cosmic chaos, conjuring imagery from Witch Trials to ghost lore.

“A Guide For Apparitions brings multiple meanings. The record can be a Grimoire if you’re being haunted, or a guide if you are the one confined to a realm you don’t belong,” explains the band.

Air Drawn Dagger blend raw emotion and defiance into a sound that defies genre. Their name, taken from Macbeth, symbolizes the chaos and emotional outbursts that fuel their music. BBC Introducing championed their early releases, and they soon found themselves on major playlists like Pop Punk Generation, Emo Anthems, and All New Rock. Air Drawn Dagger’s momentum is undeniable. They’ve sold out their own headline shows and played packed-out UK dates with Millie Manders. Recent shows with Lake MaliceDream State, and AVIVIA saw more back-to-back sellouts along with curating their own stage at the Tramlines Festival Fringe. With over 250,000 views on the music video for their single “You Should Have Known Better,” which also featured on the Kerrang! Chart, and multiple tracks premiering on BBC Introducing, the band’s cult-like following continues to grow.

Following their sold-out show at The Leadmill last year, featuring a choir of ghosts, confetti, and a human sacrifice, Air Drawn Dagger have also announced their biggest show to date at Corporation, in their hometown of Sheffield, on Saturday 5th April, 2025

With all this, and more to come, 2025 is set to be The Year of the Dagger.
