Daniel DeShon is a singer, songwriter & guitarist based in San Juan Island. In September , Daniel released his debut solo album, “Yesterdays / Tomorrows” which opens and closes with two lush, atmospheric tracks. In between, the songs bounce from pop-rock (“Sayulita”) to stripped down ballads (“Madrona”) to 90’s alternative (“the Artist”). Along the way, Daniel has help from fellow island musicians like Tara Craig, Scott Sluis & Tom Henry. He also worked with notable mainland artist Jon Auer (the Posies, Big Star).
Outside of his recent solo work, Daniel is best known as the leader of SJI alternative rock band Desolation Sound. That band has released two albums in the last three years.
Slow Rain Falling is his latest single.
