Braille Eyes – Heads Will Roll

Today, we’ll discuss “Heads Will Roll,” an excellent track by Orange County-based Braille Eyes. This composition comes from “Please Know That It Cut Me To The Bone,” an exceptional extended play release unleashed last year. Comprising of the Fake Figures, Cassetta, Scars of Tomorrow, and Perish members, Braille Eyes nurtures luxurious sound that will immediately suit anyone even remotely into heavy underground music. By merging only the finest properties of several complementary music genres like metalcore, alternative, post-hardcore, and many others, these experienced musicians demonstrate all their abilities, talents, skills, and ideas. Their sonic maneuvers go beyond comprehension many times throughout the entire track, indulging the listening apparatus to the max.

“Heads Will Roll” arrives with a comprehensive collection of ideas and instrumentations that unquestionably define all the heaviness, power, and melodics of this song. As soon as you press play, you’ll notice that these experienced musicians poured heart and soul while writing, composing, arranging, and producing their tracks. “Heads Will Roll” has a perfect structure, adorned with many intricate segments and orchestrations, capable of satisfying even the pickiest listeners. The outstanding vocal performance takes center stage, emphasizing all those segments and instrumentations while commanding attention and guiding the listening apparatus from beginning to end. The impressive vocal range seamlessly levitates above low, mid, and high notes while decorating all those heavy riffs and melodic segments. In the meantime, the marvelous guitar works shine tremendously by providing a perfect backdrop for all the vocals to shine upon. This symbiosis between vocals and guitars is omnipresent throughout the entire track, and it’s a detail that uplifts this track to new heights. Speaking of the guitars, the cleverly assembled and flawlessly performed riffs deliver that recognizable metalcore atmosphere, but you’ll notice how the band gradually levitates towards alternative and post-hardcore sound by introducing more harmonious, melodic, anthemic themes. Each segment arrives with impressive ideas distilled into a colossal slab of well-articulate noise, capable of satisfying all the true underground music enthusiasts.

Of course, this track wouldn’t sound this good without a rock-solid rhythm section. You’ll hear how equally intricate, audible, warm-sounding basslines rumble beneath the guitar layers, providing more than necessary heftiness, clearness, and deepness. These sonic maneuvers are more than noticeable during half-time, beat-down moments, but you’ll hear this particular instrument vivdly during each section. The masterful drumming performance uplifts this sonic voyage to a new level by keeping the remainder of the band in line while dictating groove and pace. The entire amalgam of cleverly arranged, energetic, well-accentuated beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics defines the sonic direction and dynamics of this track. Braille Eyes thought about everything while assembling this song. They fully stacked “Heads Will Roll” with so many impressive instrumentations, ideas, and details, so the tremendous listening experience is more than guaranteed. Therefore, if you’re into flawlessly executed metalcore, post-hardcore, or alternative rock music, you should immediately check “Heads Will Roll” out. The single is available on all streaming services. Don’t miss it!
