Madison-based emo/post-hardcore group Endswell will release their debut EP, Keepsake, via Thumbs Up Records on June 7. The group’s first single, “Heart Container” was released in early 2023. With the project’s underground origins and explosive energy on full display thanks to mixing and mastering by Alan Morris, the track offers a glowing illustration of the band’s range, both sonically and emotionally.
Though Keepsake marks the second addition to this project’s recorded discography, Endswell’s intense and dynamic live performances have already won them a fiercely dedicated fanbase in their home state of Wisconsin and beyond. It’s a collage of loss and love set against razor-sharp riffs, cuttingly confessional lyricism and towering breakdowns.
After signing with Minnesota-based record label Thumbs Up Records last February, Endswell took the Midwest by storm. In addition to landing a residency at Madison’s historic Cardinal Bar, they are set to perform at Fauxchella VII this June alongside many of the biggest names in today’s flourishing post-hardcore and emo scenes. They will be touring alongside Hey Ily, Blind Equation, Red Sun, and Fly Over States on their way.
Endswell is Maxwell Culver (Vocals), Kyle Kinney and Louie Barlaw (Guitar), Alan Morris (Drums), and Luke Ferkovich (Bass).
