Post-punk act EDNA FRAU has revealed a new single called ‘Working On My Self’ with Simona Pietrucci (Sorry, Heels) as guest. Recorded at The Fragile Studio by Andrea Fioravanti except vocal parts recorded at Studio 73 Ravenna by Riccardo Pasini and produced by Filippo Passamonti at Vdss Recording Studio, the track is an introspective journey of the protagonist, as explained by the band: “Loss of sleep due to fixed thoughts, where you try to understand where you went wrong, can lead you to self-destruction and here is the mantra of the song ‘I’m going to work on my steps relax me myself and I. total concentration on one’s well-being has become very difficult due to the frenzy of the world. this is why it is necessary to go back to being the best friends of your pillows’. The song Working on My Self is dark journey to a peaceful place. It will brings you safety to the end of the road”.

Edna Frau is a post-punk/electro Indie act formed in Ravenna in ’21. As a two-piece line-up consisting in Andrea Fioravanti (guitar, bass, programming and synthesizers), Vins Baruzzi (vocals) and with the help of Fabio Alessandrini (acoustic drums) the band recorded their debut album entitled: “My Ego Is Bigger Than Yours”, a record that was soon reviewed very well promoted including special mentions on one of the most important site of the genre, PostPunk.com. In 2022, thanks to the appreciation received, they recorded the cover of the song “Winning” by the never forgotten English band The Sound, so successful that it received praise from two members of the English band. The band then became a quartet with Seppia Foschini (Bass) and Federico Guardigni (Drums) traveling around the country promoting the album. In 2023 the EP entitled “Fail in Everything you can” was released which contains, in addition to the launch single On the long Run, some remixes of the debut album. The release of the single “Working on My Self” featuring the Rome’s based Dark Wave band Sorry,Heels is scheduled for April 13th.
