Vancouver melodic punk band The Highsides have officially returned to the studio to record their next EP, offering listeners a taste of their sound with the standalone track “Bad Moments.” While “Bad Moments” won’t appear on the upcoming record, it serves as an ideal introduction for new fans, showcasing the raw energy, gritty vocals, and emotional intensity that define the band.
Drawing influences from PUP, A Wilhelm Scream, and The Flatliners, The Highsides combine West Coast Canadian grit with fast, hook-laden punk built for club floors. Frontman Shane noted that while the group is proud of their history, they are even more excited about their evolving direction.
