Nick Noon – Who Needs Who

Who Needs Who” is the latest single by Nick Noon, a prolific Nashville-based artist. It’s his first single this year, arriving as an adequate follow-up to “A Jejune Affair,” EP recording unleashed last year. Soundwise, Nick Noon combines many different but complementary music genres to illustrate such rich and luxurious sonic imagery. Perhaps the nineties rock comes to mind first, but you’ll also notice how some of the finest properties borrowed from other rock subgenres found their way into this sonic equation. Don’t be surprised if you stumble upon garage rock, glam rock, alternative, and indie rock elements along the way, because Nick Noon stacked his track with so many vocal, sonic, and rhythmic maneuvers. He uses all these additional elements as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that unquestionably uplift his new song on an entirely new level, while the artist simultaneously remains loyal to the primary sonic direction. Therefore, these experimentations with different but complementary styles resulted in a catchy, addictive, hypnotic, mesmerizing number that will appeal to even the pickiest rock music fans and beyond.

Right with the initial notes and beats, Nick Noon grabs your attention and refuses to let go. His outstanding vocal resonates with distinctive sincerity, confidence, and power, guiding your listening apparatus on this mesmerizing rock ‘n’ roll voyage. You’ll notice how his voice balances between low, mid, and high notes, emphasizing all the segments and instrumentations with such ease. Of course, this wouldn’t be a proper rock track without the excellent guitar works. You’ll hear how the rhythm and lead guitars work together harmoniously, offering an adequate backdrop for all the vocal articulations. The interplay between both guitars sounds impressive, so you’ll solely enjoy all those heavily distorted, fuzzy, raw chord progressions and riffs while the lead shines with themes, melodies, and harmonies, providing a dosage of complexity to the mix.

Nick Noon also thought about the rhythm section, so you’ll notice how the bass guitar rumbles beneath all the mentioned orchestrations. This layer of low-ends offers more than necessary heaviness, depth, and clarity, but also binds guitar and drums together. “Who Needs Who” arrives with a comprehensive collection of beats, breaks, fills, accentuations, and other percussive acrobatics. The impressive, dynamic, powerful drumming dictates groove and tempo while keeping the remainder of the instrumentations in line. Nick Noon thought about everything while writing, composing, arranging, recording, and producing his latest single. “Who Needs Who” is a piece of art, that embraces all the vital elements of classic rock, nineties rock, garage rock, and alternative. This song showcases Noon’s experience, knowledge, skills, talent, and ideas, positioning him as one of the best contemporary rock songwriters and artists. You should put Nick Noon’s latest track on your radar as soon as possible. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it.
