Call To The Void – Blow

London-based group Call To The Void released a new single today. “Blow” is a second single that serves as an adequate follow-up to “Uncontrollable,” another exceptional track released last year. Soundwise, Call To The Void offers a fresh take on alternative rock music but also pays homage to the late eighties and early nineties sound. Like on their previous number, the band incorporated some of the finest properties borrowed from complementary genres like garage rock, grunge, punk rock, and indie. Therefore, this song has more than enough melody and harmony but also groove, power, and anthemic feel during the heavier moments. Call To The Void thoroughly planned every part, detail, and nuance, so “Blow” has all the properties of a catchy, modern alternative rock song.

As soon as you press play, you’ll notice that the vocal performance is the centerpiece, highlighting all the parts and instrumentations with balanced low, mid, and high notes. Several singing techniques give more than the necessary balance between melody and aggression, keeping the listeners engaged in the process from scratch to finish. You’ll hear how Call To The Void keeps the verses as calm as possible, with warm-sounding basslines and moderate beats supporting vocal maneuvers. The heavily distorted, raw, abrasive, fuzzy guitars jump in during the choruses, making things even more powerful and aggressive.

“Blow” shines with a sound quality that meets all the trends in modern music production. You should put this track on your radar as soon as possible because Call To The Void offers a fresh and unique take on alternative music without removing the essence. The single is available on all streaming services. Don’t miss it!
