Barcelona’s Acid Snot have released a video for the song “Iridescència.”
Iridescència proposes a radical change from the usual sound Barcelona-based melodic punks Acid Snot have become known for. This track is the first song they have sung in Catalan, with lyrics on free love and interpersonal relationships. With a heavy shoegaze intro, a catchy 00’s emo/pop punk chorus, Iridescència introduces an innovative sound never seen in the Catalan rock and pop scene.
Acid Snot is a 4-piece Tech Melodic Punk band from Barcelona, Catalunya. After a 5-year break with all of their members scattered around the globe, they are back with new music. Their sound is influenced by bands such as A Wilhelm Scream, Counterparts, Belmont, Thousand Oaks or The Contortionist while their lyrics draw on the imagery and narrative of both modern introspective emo and political punk rock. In the past, they have played several shows and festivals around Spain, the UK and Europe, such as Punk Rock Holiday, KNRD fest or ETGL.
