Camille Ruz – Wreath

We have some more divine music for your listening experience. Wreath by Camille Ruz is one of those compositions you don’t want to miss out on if you’re profoundly into indie music. It’s the first single from her upcoming extended play release that explores the difficult and often taboo subject matter of abortion, a theme that is rarely touched upon in the music industry with such care and honesty. Soundwise, Wreath perhaps explores the fundamentals of indie music, but there are many layers of sound incorporated into this divine composition that you’ll need more than one listening to grasp them all. Camille Ruz has included some of the finest properties borrowed from many complementary music genres like indie folk, indie pop, psychedelic pop, dream pop, and other similar styles that undoubtedly uplift this mesmerizing song on an entirely new level. Of course, Camille thought about everything while assembling Wreath, so this number has a calm, soothing, nearly cathartic ambiance that will appeal to even the pickiest listeners.

Camille’s exceptional vocal performance is a centerpiece of Wreath, and you’ll immediately notice how her slightly high-pitched voice perfectly balances between low, mid, and high notes. Her voice is solely responsible why this song has such a tremendous impact on the listeners, and there’s no way you’ll miss an important message hidden in cleverly assembled lyrics. Mesmerizing chord progressions delivered on acoustic guitar are also a significant part of this fine piece of sonic artistry, while the violins, percussions, and a couple of other instrumentations serve as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations that give this number even more complexity and depth. Wreath is not another simplified singer-songwriter acoustic session, but a tremendous number fully stacked with many brilliant ideas, stunning details, and exceptional musicianship that will force you to spin this song again. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
