After seven years of silence, Zagreb’s indie hit attraction Go No Go is playing again! The band has two acclaimed mini-albums – First (2012) and Second (2013). In 2016, they recorded an entire new album with ten songs, released two singles but somewhat mysteriously and unexpectedly disappeared from the scene. They only held a few secret gigs for friends, but nothing more than that.
Characterized by constant rotations on the bass/guitar position, Go No Go decided to activate and present their fifth line-up. Zdravko Šavor and Tomislav Šnidarić on guitars, Janko Kezele on drums and Elvis Šimunić on bass decided to rehearse the “best of” list of songs and added two new ones! They inserted a synth and tested how it sounds in Croatian!
They are having a good time and always are eager for a gig, but as their name suggests, it is impossible to predict how long they will last, so you should catch them when the opportunity arises.
Their first step is a weekend trip (May 26 and 27) to Serbia in Novi Sad and Belgrade, where they will release their awakened energy in the iconic underground clubs CK13 and AKAB Okretnica.
After that we will see where…
