Molteno – Stars

We have some more exceptional music for your listening pleasure. Stars, a brand-new single by London-based artist Molteno, will be right up your alley if you’re into divine dream-pop soundscapes. In a matter of few years, she unleashed a jaw-dropping number of standalone singles, such as Hint, 1000 Moons, Dakota, Ocean, Hint (Mark Saunders Remix), Dakota (Night Water Remix), Tripping Up, Waves, Our House Is On Fire, Illuminate, Moonlight, and an extended play release called Element 1. Stars arrive as a perfect follow-up to all these works, but it also carries many innovations in songwriting, composing, and producing. Perhaps her latest composition shines with all the vital elements of dream pop sound, but you’ll notice how some other music genres affected Stars to shine even brighter. Molteno incorporated some of the finest properties borrowed from complementary genres like electro-pop, trip-hop, synth-pop, dark-pop, cinematic, ambient, shoegaze, and other similar styles. Some readers might think too many music genres are involved, but Molteno thoroughly combined everything into a colossal slab of harmonious melodies, harmonies, and ambiances.

It’s nearly mindblowing how every detail works to the advantage of the Stars. Molteno implemented all sonic maneuvers in the right places, so this track offers more than just a pleasant listening experience. Molteno guides you through the vast polyphonic universe with cleverly assembled cinematic ambiances, complex melodies, glitchy beats, and other vital elements that define some of the best dream-pop songs. She thought about the song structure a lot, and maybe Stars commences with minimal leads, but it gradually becomes an immensely detailed piece that will tickle all your senses. Molteno’s outstanding vocal range provides more than enough low, mid, and high notes that perfectly match the sonic support. Her divine vocal performance will guide you on this ear-appealing voyage, and you’ll undoubtedly ask for more. Stars is more than rock-solid proof why Molteno is one of the best artists you’ll stumble upon in the contemporary dream-pop scene. The single is available for listening on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
