Los Sindes – La Ultima

After three outstanding singles, such as Vecinos Fachos, Playa C, and Sonicos, Sacramento-based trio Los Sindes returns with another exceptional composition that will unquestionably appeal to all the fans of eighties music. La Ultima is their fourth single this year that combines several complementary music genres into a colossal slab of harmonious sound. This particular song serves as an appropriate continuation of their previous work, but as is usually the case, it also showcases some innovations to their already luxurious output. For those stumbling upon this creative band for the first time, Los Sindes explore the vast universe of post-punk music. Every pore of their previous works indicates that. However, don’t be surprised if you stumble upon some of the finest properties of darkwave, goth rock, new wave, or indie rock.

Los Sindos handle all these elements with care. They thoroughly planned each sonic maneuver invested into their latest track, and you’ll unquestionably notice it. La Ultima has a perfect structure built upon clever arrangements, catchy accentuations, various enhancements, many decorations, and all other sonic delicacies that define only the best post-punk tracks. This song is extremely catchy, ear-appealing, calm, soothing, and cathartic, without flaws that might spoil the listening experience. Each vocal harmony, singalong, chord progression, melody, warm-sounding bassline, and rhythmic sequence is in the right place and with a good reason. Los Sindos are pros in assembling divine, reverby, melodic post-punk tracks, and you’ll undoubtedly notice that once you hit the play button. La Ultima is available for listening to on all streaming platforms.
