Los Angeles-based musical collective The Vincenzos have dropped their latest explosive single and music video, “Lay Down.” Born from a late-night session in Joshua Tree, frontman Vincent Brue describes the songwriting process as an “exorcism” that resulted in a defiant anthem for peace in a hostile world.
The track showcases the band’s genre-defying mix of indie, Americana, and punk rock, featuring heartfelt yet darkly comic lyrics. “Lay Down” is a call to let one’s guard down and embrace love despite the violence of the modern era. Known for their high-energy live shows and autobiographical storytelling, The Vincenzos are quickly becoming a standout name in the LA rock scene.
