Birmingham-based indie rock duo First Frontier is back with another outstanding composition. Take Cover is the seventh composition in the row from a series of singles launched in 2020 and their third single this year. As usual, First Frontier deliver a superb number that stands out from the previous works, but somehow it serves as a proper continuation to their previous singles. For those who’re tuning in for the first time, First Frontier nurture a versatile sound based upon several complementary genres, and they’re always experimenting with their tunes. Perhaps indie rock comes first to mind, but you will stumble upon garage rock, grunge, alternative rock, and punk rock for sure. They decided to try out some garage rock riffs, so their experimentations resulted in a catchy song you’ll dearly put on your playlist.
Take Cover talks about moving away from everyday life, bad news, and toxic surroundings. First Frontier highly advise you to volume up positive thoughts and live your life to the fullest, so lyrically, this tune will be right up your alley. The duo successfully established garage rock as part of their arsenal. After all, First Frontier are one of those bands who always sound good, no matter which music style they explore at the moment. Therefore, you should include Take Cover to your playlist if you’re looking out for catchy garage rock tunes. The single is available for listening on all streaming platforms.
