Wake The Sun Recently Released A Brand New Single

NYC-based alternative rock band Wake The Sun recently released a brand new single. Deep Blue Skies is their first single this year, and the first one since Tell’em All Again, released in 2020. Like in their previous works, Wake The Sun explores the alternative rock universe but also experiments with some other subgenres of rock music. Therefore, you may stumble upon some vividly hearable sonic maneuvers that are the main characteristics of indie rock, hard rock, post-rock, and rock’n’roll. The group found a musical formula that perfectly suits their needs. Still, you may stumble upon some sonic surprises along the way.

It’s nearly mindblowing how Wake The Sun simultaneously explores these elements. Perhaps their sound goes deep down into fundamentals of alternative and hard rock, but you’ll notice those reverby harmonies, pleasant echoic ambiances, and complex drumming sequences that lurk around during the verses. Still, the chorus rages on with heavy riffs, solos, and energetic drumming performance, which are the characteristics of alternative and hard rock. Wake The Sun takes the best from both worlds, so there’s not even the slightest doubt you will fall in love with this composition if you’re profoundly into rock music. Deep Blue Skies is available for listening on all streaming services.
