London, UK melodic punk rock trio The Hot Takes recently released a debut single. The band showcases admiration towards several music genres with first beats and notes. Perhaps the punk rock sound is the first thing that comes to mind. Still, it also seems the trio is heavily inspired by contemporary alternative rock, nineties rock, indie rock, progressive rock, and grunge. The Hot Takes demonstrate the brute force almost immediately through powerful riffs and robust rhythmic sequences, but the band also nurtures a mellow, calm, melodic side. This slightly calmer side is notable through flawless lead vocal performance and guitar melodies.
Tremors will be right up your alley no matter which subgenre of rock you prefer, mainly because of the thoughtfully arranged song segments and excellent performance by all involved members. Perhaps The Hot Takes formed right before the pandemic started, but their musicianship showcase three experienced musicians who’re capable of writing, composing, producing heavy, energetic, loud punk rock songs decorated with so many sonic delicacies. Tremors takes many musical directions, but it still sounds compact from scratch to finish. The single is available for listening on all streaming services. Don’t miss it!
