Houston, Texas alternative rock project Abandon The Fall recently released a brand new single. Exhale is the latest single that comes right after In Bloom, a four-song extended play released this year. The single is a result of a collaboration between Abandon The Fall and an artist named Dayshell. Besides the recognizable modern alternative rock sound, you may notice how Abandon The Fall implements other complementary genres into this number. You may stumble upon ingredients such as alternative metal, modern metal, modern hard rock, post-rock, and indie along the way, but surely this skillful musician implemented even more sonic surprises along the way.
Exhale bursts with calmy arpeggiated chord progressions, heavy downtuned riffs, flawlessly performed basslines, and a profoundly dynamic rhythm section. Each instrument is flawlessly produced, so Exhale follows all the current trends in music production. Perhaps Exhale mainly remain calm during the verses, but Abandon The Fall unleashes sheer power during the choruses when each instrument shines even brighter. The clean lead vocals come as another layer of melodies over the top, so this composition appears as a harmonious but heavy slab of modern rock music. Exhale is available for listening on all streaming services.
