Atlanta, GA alternative rock quintet Bad Guru recently released a new single. Sunshine In Hell is the fifth single that promotes their debut self-titled full-length album. Bad Guru summons all powers of rock music on their debut material, and Sunshine In Hell is a true representative of their catchy sound. The band gathers the best qualities of alternative rock, indie rock, hard rock, and rock’n’roll to achieve the desired sound. This resulted in a pleasantly sounding full-length that probably leans more contemporary alternative rock music, but you may stumble upon some old-school sonic maneuvers while listening to this album from scratch to finish.
Right with the initial beats of their debut, you’ll notice that these musicians are fully committed and passionate about what they’re doing. Their music simultaneously bursts with emotions, melodies, energy, and dynamics, and Bad Guru continues to bursts with these qualities throughout the entire album. Sunshine In Hell somehow forces you to dig deeper into the Bad Guru’s music. It possesses the qualities like the remainder of the album, so the band made a wise choice when they picked up this one for a single. Sunshine In Hell and the debut album are available for listening on all streaming platforms.
