Morrison, US indie rock quintet Mirabilia released a new single called Kind Lion. This particular composition is one of two singles recorded in an eighteen hours recording session back in late 2020. Right with the initial beats of this number, you’ll notice how the group feels comfortable while performing math-rock-infused indie rock, decorated with beautiful melodies. The group becomes even more progressive as the composition passes by, but their virtuosities are not overwhelming the vividly hearable indie rock aesthetics. Mirabilia shines even brighter on the spotlight when the ear-appealing anthemic chorus kicks in. Just because of this hymnic chorus, Kind Lion has all the predispositions to become the next big thing on indie rock charts.
Mirabilia got together during the middle of the pandemic in late 2020. The musicians behind the band draw influences from the greats such as Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers, Frightened Rabbit, and many others who blended several complementary genres altogether to illustrate the brighter picture about their sound. However, it is notable that these experienced musicians are not only inspired by the music scene but also by their surroundings and life in general. Kind Lion is available for listening on Spotify.
