Arm The Poor is a longstanding ska-punk quartet originating from Tampa, Florida. The group started in 2004 by delivering the perfect blend of hardcore punk, skate punk, and ska music, combined into an entirely polished form. However, Arm The Poor liberates enough power through their highly engaging music, so this is not another typical contemporary ska-punk band. Quite the contrary, their music leans much more to hardcore punk than ska sound, so there’s a notable dosage of abrasiveness hidden beneath the dominant layers of melody.
