UK alternative hard rock band AMONGST LIARS have returned with their heavy single and music video, “Underneath The Surface,” released on September 11th, 2026. Following the success of “Repair Myself,” the track ushers in a darker, more aggressive chapter for the four-piece.
Marking a significant creative milestone, “Underneath The Surface” showcases guitarist Leo Burdett stepping forward as the band’s new lead vocalist alongside bassist Ross Towner, synth player Brummeo, and drummer Adam Oarton. Fusing driving guitars, electronic textures, and modern metal intensity, the track reflects on resilience, starting fresh, and overcoming past setbacks.
