This latest track gives fans an exciting preview of their upcoming fifth LP, Shmaltz. Keeping the production completely in the family, Stratton-Kuhta is backed on drums by her husband, N. Kuhta, while her son, E.A. Kuhta, co-wrote and played keys on the track, bringing a distinct Stevie Wonder-inspired groove to the mix. Following their previous climate-focused collaboration with director Adam McKay’s Yellow Dot Studios, Dusty Lucite continues to deliver raw distortion combined with witty, emotionally honest lyricism.
