Arteries, the first full-length album from Brescia’s punk rock band Sludder, arrives Friday, March 13, 2026.
After almost three years of work, including an EP and a stand-alone single, the italian punk rock band Sludder release their first full-length album, Arteries. The record comes from the need to show who they really are, both as a band and as individuals, moving beyond the ironic storytelling of their first EP Sooner or Later.
Each track is a window into their emotions and anxieties, personal and shared. Songwriting is collective: every member brings themselves to every song, making the album both intimate and universal.
The title Arteries is no coincidence.
Like the arteries in the human body, which connect vital parts and allow movement and life, these songs move through feelings, experiences, and relationships, tracing connections between the self and the world around them.
Musically, the album spans the full spectrum of punk rock, blending pop punk, skate punk, and emocore. From the pop-punk tinged single Paranoid Clown, to more emotional tracks like Selmont Sky and Squeaky Shoes, to Californian-flavored songs such as Harvey’s Words and Valley, and rawer tracks like The New Truth and Untold, Arteries shows a band that’s comfortable in multiple registers without losing cohesion.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Carlo Maria Altobelli at Toxic Basement Studio in Carate Brianza (Milan), the album is released on independent label Tropical London Records and will be available on vinyl.
The Arteries release show will take place on March 21, 2026 at Carmen Town in Brescia, with support from The Enthused and Still No One.
