Multihyphenate artist Andrew Sellers and his LA-based collective, Charm School, have released their latest EP, Skadenfreude Ploy. Picking up where their 2025 debut LP Debt Forever left off, the new record offers a crushingly loud, philosophically minded critique of modern life.
The EP dives deep into the confounding implications of living in a world dominated by AI and manipulation traps. With a pedigree rooted in Louisville’s underground scene—drawing lines from Slint to Steve Albini—the record was tracked at Russian Recording and mastered at Chicago Mastering Service. Skadenfreude Ploy is a sharp, satirical anthem for those who feel the blur between reality and the “technocratic hellscape” we have yet to name. Originally released on February 20th, the EP is now gaining significant traction across alternative circles.
