The Rat Utopia Experiment has released their blistering new single, “Leviathan,” a track that lead singer Phi Lane describes as a confrontation with the “commander of envy.” Exploring the transition from innocent jealousy to resentment and rage, the song’s lyrics delve deep into the human psyche. Musically, “Leviathan” is a relentless riot grrrl rollercoaster. Drummer Evan sets a punishing pace that the rest of the band matches with fierce precision, resulting in a wild, high-energy ride. The single is now available on all major streaming services and Bandcamp, marking a bold new chapter for the band.
