Quicksand’s Landmark Post-Hardcore LP “Manic Compression” Gets 30th Anniversary Reissue

Iodine Recordings is presenting the 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Quicksand’s Manic Compression, a landmark of post-hardcore innovation. The reissue restores the original sound and art of the 1995 album, which proved the band was a movement by fusing hardcore ferocity, metallic heft, and alt-rock melody into a tightly-coiled 12-track assault. This carefully crafted edition honors the enduring influence of the record, cementing its importance in punk history and the trajectory of heavy music.
