Pasadena power-pop quartet Humbug has released their debut album, Open Season. Produced by Ryen Slegr (Ozma, Rivers Cuomo collaborator), the record blends the punch of classic Weezer with a modern indie rock melodic edge. Tracks like “Open Season” showcase their knack for sharp hooks and catchy choruses, making the album a love letter to power pop’s golden era. Having recently opened for Ozma, the band’s energetic live show and creative lineage are tied directly to the genre’s best.
