Italian indie outfit Leatherette preview their third album Ritmo Lento with “Hey There,” a fragile, intimate track blending minimalist vocals with languid bass, acoustic guitar, and saxophone. Suspended in a dreamlike atmosphere, the single explores obsession, melancholy, and resistance, highlighting the band’s willingness to confront vulnerability. Ritmo Lento promises a dichotomy of impetuous, catchy tracks and meditative, reflective compositions, balancing punk energy with cosmic indie textures. Following critically acclaimed albums Fiesta (2022) and Small Talk (2024), Leatherette continue to evolve their sound while maintaining a deeply personal and experimental approach. Hey There is out now ahead of the album release on November 28.
