The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle) join forces on “Heaven’s Breath,” the final preview from their collaborative album AVTT/PTTN, out November 14 via Thirty Tigers, Ramseur Records, and Ipecac Recordings. The gritty, fuzz-drenched rock track channels raw intensity and bold experimentation. Produced by Patton and the Avetts alongside Grammy-winning engineer Dana Nielsen, the album merges Patton’s avant-garde energy with the Avetts’ heartfelt songwriting. “Heaven’s Breath” embodies the project’s fearless spirit—an unholy fusion of folk, rock, and alternative edge. Pre-orders for AVTT/PTTN are now live, promising one of 2025’s most anticipated collaborations.
