Serbia’s melodic hardcore force Reflection have unveiled “Walls,” the first single from their upcoming album Cleft Stick, out now via Geenger Records. The Gornji Milanovac-based quartet continues to carve a powerful path through the realms of post-hardcore and screamo, delivering emotionally raw and sonically punishing music shaped by decades of experience in the Balkan underground.
Formed in 2017, Reflection built their name on cathartic live shows and an immersive sound that bridges the visceral intensity of bands like Defeater, Frail Body, and Birds in Row with the brooding atmospherics of post-metal and post-rock giants like Cult of Luna and Russian Circles. “Walls” perfectly balances introspection, eruption, melody and fury.
The upcoming full-length, Cleft Stick, marks a significant evolution for the band following their 2019 debut Different Paths. With its potent lyrical themes of personal conflict and social fracture, the new record is poised to resonate deeply with fans of emotionally driven hardcore.
With Cleft Stick, Reflection are redefining their purpose. “Walls” is the first glimpse into that vision: uncompromising, honest, and devastatingly human. Stream the track now and brace for the full album release later this year.
