UK pop punks Slackrr released their new single “Better Days” last Friday. Slackrr were very busy on European stages in 2025 and are preparing for an album release on August 1. Better Days is the last advance single.
“The song was written in the autumn of 2024, for our upcoming album which will be released via SBÄM Records scheduled for summer 2025.”, says singer and guitar player Scott. The meaning of this song is summed up best by the words of the chorus stating “I can say, that we hoped for better days, we’ll be forever standing strong, never falter, moving on,” echoed by the middle eight assuring, “until your darkest days are gone, we’ll find the strength to carry on!”
“Better Days” is an optimistic and hopeful summer anthem for a brighter future and a positive reminder that better days are on the horizon and if we stick together through the good times and the bad, it’s possible for all of us to overcome our darkest hours.
