Swedish garage rock royalty The Hives have released a stylish new video for their latest single, “Paint A Picture,” offering fans a taste of what’s to come from their upcoming album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, due out August 29. Directed by Filip Nilsson and Henry Moore Selder, the video is a chaotic, tongue-in-cheek visual feast, matching the band’s trademark swagger and tightly wound energy.
“Paint A Picture” finds The Hives in classic form—sharp, brash, and impossibly catchy. The track pulses with their signature blend of punk immediacy and rock-and-roll bravado, underscoring their continued dominance in the modern garage rock revival.
Known for their explosive live shows and self-aware theatrics, The Hives remain as unpredictable and electrifying as ever. With The Hives Forever Forever The Hives on the horizon, this latest release signals a triumphant return for one of rock’s most enduring showmen.
