Basement Announce New UK / EU Headline Tour Dates With Anxious For September 2025

Today, Basement have announced details for a much anticipated UK / EU headline tour to take place in September 2025. The dates mark the band’s first headline dates across the two, following their celebrated return and live appearances at Outbreak in 2024 and supporting Knocked Loose earlier this year.

The dates will also feature support from their labelmates Anxious. The Connecticut punk favourites released their critically acclaimed sophomore album Bambi earlier this year via Run For Cover Records earning praise from the likes of Kerrang!, Rock Sound, NME, Dork, and more. The live dates come on the heels of a lengthy US headline run with support from Ultra Q and Stateside, and will follow a headline UK date, an appearance at 2000Trees, and a short run of Japanese headline dates. Bambi follows Anxious’ acclaimed 2022 full-length, Little Green House, and finds the band fully embracing the widescreen alternative rock songwriting they’ve always hinted at. It’s a record of growth and depth that’s sonically ambitious while further amplifying the seamless combination of hardcore grit and classic emo dynamism that’s made them such a beloved young band. Earlier singles “Some Girls,” “Counting Sheep” and “Head & Spine” have introduced listeners to Anxious’ exciting next chapter (as well as drawing praise from the likes of Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, Uproxx, Alt Press, and more) and “Never Said” keeps the big guitars and bigger melodies coming.

Lyrically, the record is a warts-and-all portrait of leaving your adolescence behind; the breakups, the burnouts, the inevitable challenges of ending adulthood—all of which are further complicated by trying to avoid the frustrating cliches of being in a quickly rising band and spending the better part of two years on tour. The result is a massive leap forward and an endlessly anthemic rock record. Bambi is the sound of Anxious putting everything on the line and coming out on the other side better than ever.
