Los Angeles rock trio Together Pangea returns with the punchy, ‘90s alt-rock, fuzzed-out single, “Little Demon,” out this Friday, April 18th. For the new project, Together Pangea enlisted three-time Grammy Winner and producer, Mikey Freedom Hart (Taylor Swift, Blood Orange, Wallice, and Lana Del Rey). Early listen here.
Last weekend, Together Pangea made their Coachella debut and will return to the desert for the second weekend on Saturday, April 19th to play the Sonora Stage. Additionally, the band just played a Coachella sideshow in LA on Monday, April 14th at the El Rey with support from Prison Affair.
On the new track, lead vocalist/guitarist William Keegan shares, “I wanted to write a song that was both pretty and heavy. The lyrics are a stream of consciousness — I always keep the first thing I sing when writing a song. I often don’t know what a song is about until I hear it or play it again years later. I think in this song, I’m just trying to talk myself through some complicated feelings.”
Since they began jamming back in William’s Santa Clarita bedroom, Los Angeles indie band Together Pangea–William Keegan, Danny Bengston, and Erik Jimenez–have continually challenged themselves with each subsequent offering. Jelly Jam [2010] poured the gasoline, Living Dummy [2011] struck the match, and Badillac [2014] lit the fire with its revved-up nineties rock-inspired flames, followed by The Phage [2015] Bulls and Roosters [2017], DYE [2021], and their most recent, Misery [2024]. They’ve racked up millions of Spotify streams, garnered critical acclaim from the likes of LA Times, Consequence, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, and Rolling Stone, and toured with acts like Jimmy Eat World, FIDLAR, and Alkaline Trio. Last summer headlined across North America in support of the 10-year anniversary of Badillac.
