Fin Del Mundo Released New Track “El día de las flores”

Fin del Mundo‘s new album ‘Hicimos crecer un bosque’ is nearly here – out in October 18 via Spinda Records (pre-order here) – and they’ve just dropped a third single titled “El día de las flores”, featuring Guillermo Mármol from Argentina cult-band Eterna Inocencia on vocals.

This song describes a nostalgic, reflective landscape of the relationship between two people. The album’s protagonist feels they are not emotionally reciprocated as expected, exploring the anguish that comes from it: feeling alone in the middle of the city, longing for that shared refuge, and sensing that what was built in the past remains alive in memory, in a feeling, in the wind.

For this song, which has a strong dream-pop vibe and very extensive lyrics, we invited Guillermo Mármol from Eterna Inocencia (a huge influence on us) to accompany us on vocals. The guitars have a very bright treatment, and the drums are extremely precise, although the bass carries the weight of the entire song.Lucía Masnatta

Lucía, Yanina, Tita, and Julieta seem to feel that it’s not time to stop… After impressing the world with their live session for KEXP and their recent performance for Sesiones Bravas, being part of the Fender Next program, touring much of Europe and Latin America, and less than a year after the release of their album Todo va hacia el mar’Fin del Mundo are now preparing to release their new studio creation, ‘Hicimos crecer un bosque’. While this new album will not officially see the light until October 18, under the Spinda Records, three singles will have been released by then: “Vivimos lejos”“Una temporada en el invierno”, and the upcoming “El día de las flores”.

‘Hicimos crecer un bosque’ is an 8-track album that ranges from indie rock to post-rock, touching on dream pop, Midwest emo, and shoegaze. The album was recorded in May 2024 by Estanislao López at Estudios Unísono in Buenos Aires, later mixed by Nicolás Aimo at Estudio Albatros, and mastered by Sr. Warrior. The artwork, based on photographs by Candela Pérez, was created by Francisco Picone.

Like their previous album, ‘Hicimos crecer un bosque’ will be released on October 18 under the Andalusian label Spinda Records as part of its ‘Noisy Series‘ (a collection that already includes albums from bands such as Adelaida, Las Nubes, and Battosai). This new release from Fin del Mundo will be available in digital format, CD, cassette, and a triple vinyl edition, limited to 400 lavender-colored copies, 300 marbled red copies, and 300 standard black copies.

Since September 11, pre-orders have been available at spindarecords.com.
