Matty Myatt Released New Song And Video “The Senorita In The Salmon Dress”

While holding tight to his punk rock roots Matty Myatt manages to equip himself with a brand of folk rock that still maintains the angst of his past while showing a softer more mature sound. 

After a brief hiatus and a pandemic that halted everything Myatt took the time to reflect and hone his craft to find the perfect balance of punk and folk that he wanted to write. With a much more focused lens and learning to dig deep within himself he has come up with a crop of songs that remain lyrically inventive but have a much stronger clarity. 

A 3 song e.p. where each song released as a single began on May 24th with the track SELF HELP WANTED ADS is now being followed up with the song THE SENORITA IN THE SALMON DRESS. Released officially on Aug 30th the track offers the familiar driving upbeat sounds while maintaining the melancholic yet hopeful lyrics of yearning for a connection that is a common trademark for Myatts songwriting. This newest release also offers a fresh music video that captures Myatts credence of always taking the work seriously but never taking yourself seriously. 

The next and final release of this project is slated for October 25th 2024 with more releases, videos and shows being planned for 2025.
