Som Är Död, formed in 2022 and hailing from Seinäjoki and Tampere/Finland, will release their first single from the upcoming EP on the 15th of August.

The song Come Alive starts out with full blast and volume, stampeding throughout the track. Come Alive represents the bands more furious and faster side. Armed with a big chorus, the three minute song carries a whole lot of energy around and gives the listener a deserved boost of adrenaline!

Lyrically Come Alive describes the experience of losing everything, trying to see the positive in it and rebuild a new life, only to find out that nothing has really changed.

Come Alive is the opening track on the Warmth Of The Sun-EP, set to be released 15th of October. The mini album is an entity of five songs, drawing inspiration from 90’s alternative rock and a slew of other genres. Released digitally and on limited edition cassette.

The next single will be released on the 13th of September, Som Är Död will playing selected shows later in 2024.

Rock in many forms; noise, action, grunge, alternative and something abrubtly twisting, SOM ÄR DÖD is a fresh fourpiece from Seinäjoki and Tampere/Finland that delivers this sonic palette with vigour and confidence. It is a well oiled machine which parts complete each other.

Som Är Död (Swedish, trans. That Which Is Dead), is contrary to the name very much alive: primal and distinct, reverberating with a huge bass, vigorous drumming and scorching guitars, the whole is topped off with a convincing and eloquent vocalist.

Throughout the years, bands have been formed as jokes, temporary things, as a way to the stars and as an expression of art. Som Är Död was formed to channel the vitality in rock music and the power it delivers. The group is finalizing their debut EP, to be released 15th of October 2024, and writing material for a full length album.

The members have a past and present history with these bands: Malamujer, Magic Meredith, Supreme Havoc, Julia’s Window, Silverdomes, Gangrened and Smokesuit.
