Feliciano – Kiss in the Morning

Kiss in the Morning” is the latest single by Feliciano, a Rincón-based singer-songwriter. It’s his second piece of work this year, serving as an adequate continuation of “Monsters Of The Lonely,” another excellent song released earlier this year. Still, this new composition brings more innovation to songwriting, composing, arranging, and producing, so it will appeal to anyone looking for expertly composed and flawlessly performed music. Soundwise, “Kiss in the Morning” is a fascinating composition inspired by the eighties, nineties, noughties, and modern music. The artist combines many different but complementary music genres to illustrate such rich and luxurious sonic imagery where tremendous vocal, sonic, and rhythmic maneuvers shine bright in the limelight. Perhaps indie comes to mind, as some of the finest indie pop elements reign supreme, but don’t be surprised if you stumble upon some of the finest properties of synth-pop, new wave, post-punk, and indie rock music. Feliciano uses all these additional styles as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details to uplift his latest single to new heights while simultaneously remaining loyal to the primary sonic direction. Therefore, “Kiss in the Morning” will appeal to even the pickiest music enthusiasts interested in some of the mentioned music genres.

The artist wisely constructed and planned everything. “Kiss in the Morning” arrives with a cleverly assembled song structure where intricate segments, brilliant ideas, and exceptional musicianship collide harmoniously. Of course, you’ll notice how the vocals act as a centerpiece of this fine piece of sonic artistry, commanding attention and guiding listeners through every detailed section. Felician’s impressive vocal range and impressive delivery seamlessly balance between low, mid, and high notes while simultaneously decorating all the segments and orchestrations. You’ll notice how synths shape such a rich and luxurious ambiance that is an adequate backdrop for all the vocals to shine upon. The clever interplay between so many layers adds a touch of complexity, but Feliciano somehow managed to keep “Kiss in the Morning” as easy-listening as possible. He ultimately succeeded in his aim, as this track continuously levitates between complex instrumentation and calm, soothing, relaxing, ethereal sounds. You’ll hear how cathartic ambiances, sequences, and chord progressions resonate on one side while the other shines with fascinating leads, themes, melodies, harmonies, and other sonic delicacies. Also, it’s nearly mindblowing how vocals and synths articulate harmoniously from scratch to finish, making this sonic voyage even more pleasant.

Of course, this composition wouldn’t sound this good without a rock-solid rhythm section. Feliciano built many equally intricate, audible, warm-sounding basslines, offering more than necessary heaviness, clearness, and depth while binding synths with drums. In the meantime, the energetic, well-accentuated, tastefully constructed beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics keep everything in line while dictating groove and pace. Everything sounds super from beginning to end, proving Feliciano left no stone unturned while writing, composing, arranging, recording, and producing this track. “Kiss in the Morning” is an indie/synth masterpiece that will immediately grab your attention and refuse to let go even after the song ends, thanks to its catchy, engaging, memorable instrumentations, carefully planned segments, and other marvelously created properties. Feliciano’s abilities to breathe in some innovative, fresh, unique ideas into these longevous music genres go beyond comprehension so many times throughout the entire track, and “Kiss in the Morning” will become your go-to track whenever you need perfect indie/synth music. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
