Everyone’s favourite 70s alt-folk, rock and pop enthusiasts Malibu Spacey have delivered an absolutely mind-shatteringly good album. Despite kicking around for a number of years now, with several singles and an EP under their belt, this was their debut full-length. But you wouldn’t guess it. It is a seriously accomplished collection of songs, showcasing a collaborative song-writing ability between the five members that is mature well beyond their years. Needless to say, it has been picked up and adored by a host of writers and radio presenters. The band have also just celebrated the release of the album with a show at the Bergy Bandroom. If you want to see Evan and Antony from the band perform two of the new tracks, they were just recently on SYN’s Get Cereal performing ‘Danger Danger’ and ‘Career Ain’t Dead’.
