Today, German hardcore band Spirit Crusher released Dream World on Triple B Records. The two song EP showcases the band’s crossover style, combining elements of traditional hardcore with thrash metal – think Cro-Mags meets early Metallica. The EP was produced by Spirit Crusher with the help of David Deutsch (1408 Productions in Hanover, Germany), who also recorded and mixed the songs, and  mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Converge, Earth Crisis). You can stream it HERE and purchase the 7” through Triple B Records.

Formed in 2015, the five members of Spirit Crusher were bonded by shared values and mindsets, noting straight edge, human rights, and animal rights. Since its formation the band has played shows all over Europe and the UK and released a 7” called The Absolute (2016) as well as a full-length LP, Whispers Against The Roar Of The World (2019), both on The Essence from London. On their newest offering, Dream World, Spirit Crusher have put forth two emotional and expressive tracks that address ideality and false truths. Both “D.O.R.” and “Center Of Nothing” pack an innate chaos, filled with thrash-forward riffs and a commanding yet melodious vocal delivery. Dream World is a showcase of Spirit Crusher’s expansive sound and an indication of what to expect as the band prepares a full-length album.
