Dirty Mitts – Ride The Storm

“Ride the Storm” is a new single by Dirty Mitts. It’s a powerful number by this London-based quartet that will immediately appeal to even the pickiest rock music fans. Perhaps this composition embraces the fundamental elements of traditional hard rock sound, but you’ll also notice how some other subgenres found their way into this fine piece of sonic artistry. Dirty Mitts fully stacked this magnificent song with the finest sonic ingredients borrowed from modern rock, alternative, blues, and rock ‘n’ roll. These additional elements unquestionably serve as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that uplift this track on an entirely new level, while the Dirty Mitts remain loyal to the primary sonic direction. Of course, these experimentations with different approaches resulted in a marvelous, powerful, catchy, energetic, modern song that will suit any true hard rock fan.

As soon as you press play, you’ll notice that these folks are not joking around with their music. The cleverly assembled riffs serve as a perfect backdrop for an impressive vocal performance that flawlessly balances between low, mid, and high notes. These vocal harmonies emphasize everything Dirty Mitts tried to convey with their latest single, so you’ll be blown away by the magnificent vocal range that decorates “Ride the Storm” from scratch to finish. Of course, this composition wouldn’t be complete without equally complex low-end notes that provide more heaviness, depth, and clarity, while the outstanding rhythmic sequences based upon moderate, well-accentuated beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive acrobatics offer groove and pace, but also keep the remainder of the group in line.

Dirty Mitts thoroughly planned the song structure, and you’ll notice how every segment comes with excellent guitar leads, themes, accentuations, melodies, harmonies, basslines, and beats. The band wisely implemented everything and thought about even the tiniest detail while assembling this sonic equation. Besides being oriented toward modern rock, you’ll notice how “Ride the Storm” carries some eighties and nineties vibe. The song shines with a profoundly complex ambiance that will undoubtedly appeal to your listening apparatus, even if you’re not into hard rock music at all. It’s also good to mention that each band member plays a significant role in shaping the aforementioned ambiance, and you’ll hear how every instrument bursts with tremendous power and precision from beginning to end.

You should immediately put “Ride the Storm” on your radar, because Dirty Mitts put nothing but brilliant ideas and exceptional musicianship into it. The band demonstrates how modern hard rock should sound nowadays, and there are no doubts that you’ll include this track on your rock playlist. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
