Ninali – Daylight

Daylight” is a new single by Ninali, a Spanish singer and artist. It’s a song dedicated to anyone going through a rough period, giving a glimmer of hope and promising everything will be alright. Soundwise, Ninali explores several subgenres of pop music at once. Perhaps contemporary pop comes to mind first, but you’ll also stumble upon some of the finest properties borrowed from commercial pop, indie pop, synth-pop, and even synthwave. These experimentations with various but complementary styles resulted in a catchy, ear-appealing, mesmerizing pop song, ensuring that all these elements serve as more than necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that uplift this song on an entirely new level, while the artist remains loyal to the primary sonic direction. She thoroughly planned the entire song structure, so every segment carries many sonic delicacies and surprises that will indulge the listening apparatuses of even the pickiest listeners.

As soon as you press play, you’ll notice that Ninali‘s magnificent vocal performance takes center stage. Her perfectly sung vocal harmonies emphasize every segment by balancing low, mid, and high notes. She glides between calm, soothing, relaxing, ethereal notes and more high-pitched, powerful energetic chants. The flawlessly arranged synth themes, leads, ambiances, and chord progressions serve as a perfect soundscape that offers support to her tremendous vocal performance, while the equally complex, vividly hearable, warm-sounding basslines provide more than necessary heaviness, clarity, and depth. This composition wouldn’t sound so good without cleverly constructed rhythmic sequences, based upon moderate, well-accentuated electronic beats, breaks, and fills. You’ll also notice many other sonic and percussive accentuations that enhance and decorate “Daylight” on an entirely new level.

“Daylight” is undoubtedly one of the standout tracks this year, thanks to Ninali‘s creativity, talent, ideas, and musicianship. She wrote, composed, recorded, and produced a marvelous contemporary pop song that will satisfy even those picky fans of the genre. However, “Daylight” will also indulge listening apparatuses of those newbies to the genre because this track carries many qualities that defy the rules of modern music. You should unquestionably put “Daylight” on your radar because it offers everything you ever needed from a contemporary pop song and beyond. The single is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
