Moon Landing – Violet

Moon Landing‘s new single “Violet” serves as an appropriate follow-up to a critically acclaimed song “A Lack of Natural Light.” This latest track is the first of two singles off his upcoming EP, “Blink Once and Miss the World Go By,” set to be released on November 15, 2023. Moon Landing blends elements of singer-songwriter music with influences borrowed from art rock, indie rock, indie folk, and indie pop. By incorporating these sonic properties, Moon Landing enhances and elevates “Violet” to a new level, while staying true to his primary musical direction.

At the core of “Violet” is an exceptional vocal performance. The balance between low, mid, and high notes emphasizes the artist’s musical intentions. The calm, soothing, and ethereal piano leads and melodies intertwine seamlessly with the gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar. The chord progressions play a significant role in creating a rich and luxurious sound, while the warm and complex basslines add depth and clarity to the composition. The drumming performance is also exceptional. Well-accentuated beats, breaks, fills, and other percussive elements contribute to the overall groove and pace of the song. The drums also serve the purpose of keeping all the instrumentations in line, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious sound. Additionally, the delicate violin performance during the choruses adds an extra layer of complexity and richness to the already intricate ambiance.

Moon Landing’s prowess as a songwriter and composer shines through in “Violet.” The song gradually becomes more detailed and ear-appealing as it progresses, showcasing the artist’s experience, creativity, talent, ideas, and musicianship. It is undoubtedly a track that will captivate even the most discerning fans of the genre. Moon Landing masterfully crafts a musical masterpiece within this song, leaving no doubt about his abilities as a talented musician. By combining elements from various genres, Moon Landing creates a sonic landscape that is intricate and captivating. From the outstanding vocal performance to the delicate violin, the composition weaves together an array of instruments and sounds to deliver a rich and luxurious musical experience. With the upcoming release of “Blink Once and Miss the World Go By,” Moon Landing’s talent and musicianship are on full display. The song exemplifies his creativity, and it is bound to resonate with fans of the genre and beyond. “Violet” is available on all streaming platforms. Don’t miss it!
