Toxins Released New Single “Brown Bag Special”

Toxins released Brown Bag Special, the first single from the upcoming full-length album Existential Dread, due for release on June 9. You can pre-order the album HERE

It has been just over a year since Toxins released their first 7” lathe cut (the originals sold out in hours but they have since remastered and re-cut them for a final run) and to say they have been busy is quite the understatement.

Shortly after the self-titled release, they released the 4 song EP titled ‘Recovery Room’, showcasing the bands development in sound and style. ‘Recovery Room’ also saw a limited lathe cut release that sold out in 48 hours. To support the release, the band played a myriad of shows in San Diego, Arizona, and Los Angeles and was featured on such outlets as No Echo, New Noise Magazine, Thoughts Words Action, etc. 

In early 2022, Toxins were asked to contribute with two songs for an international split vinyl release on Coffin Curse Records. The two songs that are on that comp were written in the midst of writing their first full length record. After the addition of a new bass player, Toxins began tracking their LP with the renowned producer and engineer, Alex Capilé. Now with the recording completed, Toxins is preparing a full marketing blitz for the release of the “Existential Dread” LP (June 9th) as well as booking shows through-out the remainder of the year and into 2023/2024 in the US and Brazil.
