In Fear Released New Album “All Is. All Shall Be”

In Fear are a ferocious metal quintet from Bristol UK who have been unstoppable since their formation in 2017. Since releasing their debut EP ‘Solace’ in early 2019 the band have gained ample footing in the UK scene, heading out on various tours, festival appearances and accruing over 900,000 streams online. The band have upcoming performances planned for UK Tech Fest and Burn It Down Festival as well as a full UK headline tour to push the album release.

In Fear recently signed to UK label Year Of the Rat Records, and their debut album ‘All Is. All Shall Be’ is released on the 5th May 2023. Over the cycle the band have already had support from BBC Radio 1 (Alyx Holcombe + Nels Hylton’s shows), Sunday Sport, Daily Express, Knotfest, Rock Sound, Metal Hammer, Kerrang Radio, Prison Radio, Moshville Times, Total Rock Radio, Idobi Howl, Primordial Radio, Amazing Radio, Music Choice, and many other respected publications as well as official playlist support from Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Napster and Pandora.

Ryan Simmons (In Fear) – “We began writing for the album back in 2018, starting with demos for ‘Abyss’ and ‘Cessation’ which we took to producer George Lever. During the writing and pre-production sessions we experimented with a lot of eerie, horror-esque soundscapes, trying to create an atmosphere which would eventually inspire the narrative and concept of the record. The album tells the story of a character who is trapped in purgatory trying desperately to reach the afterlife, but is doomed to repeat the same torturous cycle of events. Each song represents the next chapter in this character’s story, finally resolving the cycle with the closing track ‘All Shall Be’. To say we are immensely proud of this record is an understatement, it represents years of writing, refinement and dedication from all of us. We really wanted to experiment and push the boundaries of what we were capable of both artistically and musically throughout this process, I believe we achieved that.”
